COMVIS Profiler™ DIY is the most versatile machine vision inspection system for automatic inline surface inspection of continuous materials, such as fabrics, composites, aramid and plastics. Profiler™ DIY uses the proven Texplorer™ CORE platform for image acquisition, processing and defect detection. It is designed to be independently integrated by the customer into a process or system. It is the ideal solution for customers able to take care of the integration. It saves costs and enables the customer to independently make an integration with its own PLC, MES and/or ERP systems due to our systems full access open data structure.

The delivery of COMVIS Profiler™ DIY includes the powerful Texplorer™ CORE machine vision controller box with i9 14-core CPU with Texplorer™ CORE runtime license, camera(s) + optic(s), illumination, control electronics and cables. Depending on your application, setups with line scan (DIY-L) and area scan (DIY-A) cameras are available. Together with the support engineers of COMVIS, the vision configuration for your application is determined.

Profiler™ DIY-L - Line Scan Configuration

  • Vision Box with Intel® Core™ i9 14 Core CPU with extreme processing power for images with high resolution and high frame rates
  • 4k, 6k, 8k or 12k linescan cameras with high quality low noise lenses
  • Single- or multiple linescan cameras connected to 1 Texplorer™ Vision Box
  • Transmitted and/or reflected high power LED line lights in every desired length

Profiler™ DIY-A - Area Scan Configuration

  • Vision Box with Intel® Core™ i9 14 Core CPU with extreme processing power for images with high resolution and high frame rates
  • 0,9MP, 2,3MP, 5MP or 20 MP area scan cameras with high quality low noise lenses
  • Up to 12 area scan cameras connected to 1 Texplorer™ Vision Box
  • Transmitted and/or reflected high power LED line lights in every desired length
  • Trigger timing module with Ethernet interface
  • Strobe & light controller with Ethernet interface
